Things To Do

Conrad Weiser Homestead

Conrad Weiser Homestead

28 Weiser Drive, Womelsdorf, PA 19567

We took our engagement pictures here! It is a National Historic Landmark spanning 26 acres. The site preserves and interprets the life of Conrad Weiser, an 18th-century German immigrant who served as a critical Native American interpreter, diplomat, and peacemaker between the Pennsylvania colony and the Iroquois Confederacy. The memorial park was designed in the 1920s by the famed Olmsted Brothers. Operating hours vary by season, but buildings are generally open to the public on Wednesdays (12 PM – 4 PM), Saturdays (10 AM – 4 PM), and Sundays (12 PM – 4 PM). There is an on-site bookstore, floral cottage, and is dog friendly!
