dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal: We ask that men wear a tux and women wear a midi or maxi dress (think fun summer colors and patterns -no black dresses please!). We also recommend bringing sunglasses, a light jacket/shawl, and a hair clip as it can get windy and chilly at night.

Weather?

Answer

Expect sunshine during the day (hopefully!!) and a breezy, cooler evening. Daily temperatures for Sonoma at that time are mid-80s, rarely falling below 68°F. Though our venue is located off of a large hill- allowing for a lot of wind in the afternoon. Sunset is at 8:30pm. Please check the weather forecast as the date gets closer! There are outdoor heaters in case the temperatures drop.

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

We ask everyone to arrive around 5:30pm for our pre-ceremony cocktail hour with the ceremony promptly after. We have allotted this time since traffic can pick up from Napa downtown to Viana around this time and we wouldn’t want anyone to miss our ceremony. Please factor that it is a 25 minute drive without traffic.

Transportation to the Wedding?

We've arranged shuttle service to take you back to Downtown Napa at the end of the night. For your convenience, please plan to use a ride-sharing service (Uber/Lyft) or taxi to arrive at the wedding venue by 5:30pm at the latest.

Many 4-6 hour driver services available - look online or check Groupon for driver discounts. Shuttles Options Up Valley The shuttles provide on-demand transit services within its city limits for the general public. These shuttles are wheelchair accessible. Calistoga Shuttle: Call (707) 963-4229 to schedule a pick-up and the vehicle will arrive within 15-30 minutes. Cost: Free for lodging guests. St. Helena Shuttle: Call (707) 963-3007 to schedule a pick-up and the vehicle will arrive within 15-30 minutes. Cost: $1 The Yountville Trolley: Call (707) 944-1234 or (707) 312-1509 after 7:00 p.m. This service is free thanks to the generous support from the Town of Yountville.

Parking?

Answer

There is ample free parking at the venue, but we encourage taking the shuttle, carpooling, or using ride-sharing services like Uber for a fun and safe celebration. Please pick up your vehicle by 10am on June 28th, if necessary.

Should I schedule my Uber/Lyft/Cab ahead of time?

Answer

Sonoma & Napa are small towns in wine country, so there are fewer ride-share options, and they can take a while to arrive. We strongly recommend that you schedule your car ahead of time.

Can we bring our kid(s)?

Answer

As much as we love your children, the venue is limited to adults only (21+). We appreciate you making arrangements for your kids ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is by invitation only. There will be assigned tables so we will only be able to accommodate those explicitly listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outside. Our after party will take place inside Viansa’s wine cellar. In the event of rain, everything will be moved inside of Viansa’s pavilion.
