Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is beach formal. Women are encouraged to wear long or cocktail dresses in summer colors or floral prints (no white please). Men are encouraged to wear suits in lighter hues. Are children invited?

We have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only (21+) occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us on our big day.

Where will most guests be staying on the property?

Answer

We expect majority of guests to be staying within a close proximity to the Grand Mountain Lodge. Rooms in Clock Tower, Chalet Edelweiss, Boynehof Lodge, and Grand Mountain Lodge are all within a short walk to the shuttle pickup to the Ceremony & Reception. The closest condos to shuttle location will be at Mountain Villa, followed by Disciple's Ridge. Mountain Villa is walkable to shuttle location, while Disciple's Ridge is closer to a short drive.

When are most guests arriving?

Answer

We expect most guests to arrive to Boyne Falls on Friday, August 8. We request golfers arrive Thursday night to make their tee time on Friday.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The shuttle will pick up & drop off at the Grand Mountain Lodge. Rooms in Clock Tower, Chalet Edelweiss, Boynehof Lodge, and Grand Mountain Lodge are all within a short walk to the shuttle to the Ceremony & Reception.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a welcome party Friday evening at the Grand Mountain Lodge. Please join us for light bites, beer & wine.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

TVC (Cherry Capital Airport) is approximately an hour ride from our venue. For our CLT guests, there are direct flight options to TVC.
