Trailhead is about 30 minutes from downtown - amazing views of Lucky Peak Reservoir! About 6 miles round trip hike with 2,000 ft of elevation!!

Hiking & Mountain View’s: Bogus Basin

Drive up to Bogus Basin to hike - Freddy’s Stack Rock Trail or All Around the Mountain Trail are some of our favorites! It is about a 40 minute drive from downtown. This is where we got engaged!

McCall, Idaho - 2 hour drive from Boise, amazing lake for boating/kayaking, hikes all around, cute mountain town. Bear Valley Rafting - 45 min from Boise - white water rafting in Banks, Idaho! Stanley, Idaho - 3 hours from Boise - Redfish Lake (hike, stay at the lodge, swim, or camp - this place is a gem but does get packed so plan in advance!) Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho - 2.5 hours from Boise - hiking, check out the ski resort, lots of camp sites and fishing, OH and the golf course is amazing!

Walla Walla, Washington - 3.5 hours from Boise - there are over 150 wineries, very cute winery town. Jackson Hole, Wyoming & Victor, Idaho - 4.5 hour drive from Boise - Grand Teton National Park is stunning. One of our favorite places in the world. Hiking, rodeos, and good restaurants and bars in town! Yellowstone National Park - 5.5 hour drive from Boise to west Yellowstone entrance - text me for recommendations! My list is too long. Coeur d’ Alene - 6 hour drive from Boise - up in the northern part of Idaho - boat on the lake or rent jet skis. Tons of amazing golf courses and really cute town! Bozeman/Big Sky, Montana - 6.5 hour drive from Boise - go fly fishing in Ennis, MT (text me for a guide recommendation)!
