During the year 2017, Becca was a waitress in a local hotel. Meanwhile, her close friends Ted and Jessica were opening their own specialty coffee shop in Westfield, MA. With business booming quicker than expected, Ted and Jess needed extra hands at Circuit Coffee, and offered Becca a job. She left her job as a waitress and joined the crew at Circuit Coffee within the first few weeks of it opening. Becca loved the atmosphere of Circuit Coffee! Having previously worked in the hotel, Becca rarely had regular customers. However, at the coffee shop, she was able to make so many connections, seeing people every day that were coming in for their coffee fix. Becca secretly had her eye on this regular customer, Nate, but didn't think anything would come of it. She mentioned him a few times to her friend Kristin, but denied having any interest in him whatsoever.

Before the summer of 2017, Nate had been working as a zamboni driver. He wanted a change of scenery and decided to go to New Jersey to work for the summer. While in New Jersey, Nate worked as a server. During that time, he was also praying that God would somehow provide him a life long friend. When the summer was over, it had seemed like God had started to answer that prayer. He returned home to Massachusetts and started going back to Circuit Coffee. He quickly fell for the cute barista. However, nerves got in the way and stopped him from asking her out.

Nate decided that he really wanted to get to know Becca. He was planning a Christmas worship night at his church with a few friends. He invited Becca to the event, and she almost couldn't make it because she had her own Christmas concert at church. However, she found a way to get there on time, and Nate knew that this was his big chance to ask her out. He definitely did not want to miss out on it. Nate had been working up the courage to ask her all night, and after the worship night ended, he finally suggested that they go out to a coffee shop in CT. Although their first date did not even involve a coffee shop at all (it was just his excuse to get her to go out with him), they really hit it off. After that, another date followed. Quick on his feet, Nate told her that he had feelings for her, but Becca wanted time to think about whether or not she was ready for a relationship. The only down side to thinking about it for Nate was that he had a two week long mission trip to Thailand, and so he had to wait for an answer. After a long grueling two weeks he finally got his response. She said that she would love to date.

Nate and Becca quickly found that they could not spend much time apart. They did everything together. Within a week of them dating, Nate already knew that he wanted to marry her and was going to propose at the coffee shop that he met her at. They had many adventures, countless late nights star-gazing and talking until 3 am, and they went on various spontaneous trips together. They spent the summer making many memories and visiting Nate's family in New Jersey and Texas. Nate also worked hard all summer, earning enough money working at a golf course to buy his favorite girl a ring. Even though most proposals are supposed to be a surprise, Nate and Becca are not good at keeping secrets from each other. He would give her hints all the time. The only thing he would not say was the week that he was going to propose. On a side note, Becca had her wedding dress before Nate proposed to her. Don't worry, she has kept that a secret from him all along.

Nate and Becca are very busy preparing for their wedding and are getting married April 19, 2020! They are so excited to celebrate with you and are very much looking forward to spending their lives together!
