This is your typical boy meets girl love story, but with a twist. We met during COVID lockdown in 2020. I was visiting a friend out of state and ended up meeting this goofy, quirky guy. We connected instantly. Within the first few hours of talking we learned so much about each other, but the most important being our love for 70s classic rock and records. I still did not think anything of it and never did I think that this is where we would end up. We continued talking, calling each other, and facetiming. It was made official a few months after meeting. For roughly two years we struggled with long-distance dating. Nathaniel eventually made the BIG move from Richlands, Virginia to Memphis, Tennessee. It was a big adjustment for him moving from the cold mountains to the hot and humid city. He absolutely hated the Memphis heat, and I heard on a daily basis for about 6 months, "I'm dying, I'm melting." He eventually realized he would have to suck it up and deal with it. The memories we have made and the adventures we have taken have now led us to where we are now and we could not be happier!
