Our Story
It all started almost two years ago on a weekend in August 2023. We met at a leadership retreat for the ministry we served in called Cru. I boldly introduced myself first & we easily fell into friendship after that. We were a part of a friend group that hung out often on each others' couches having deep conversations about life. Through those moments, we began to truly know each others' hearts. I began telling my roommates, "Wow, Nathaniel has qualities of a guy I would marry. It's too bad I don't like him like that." Ha!
Little did I know, the Lord would open my eyes a few months later & soon after, He prompted Nathaniel to ask me out at another one of those nights at our friend's house. We were alone under the stars & finally admitted to liking each other. From the first date (4/20/24), we knew we never wanted to be apart. The Lord has continued to grow our hearts together & we are so excited to be joined as one in marriage! He has been so faithful to us & we are so thankful!
