Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Great for an all day affair. The boardwalk is home to both a public beach and an amusement park. The beach is staffed with lifeguards. There are also plenty of restaurants both on the boardwalk and nearby that are sure to satiate that appetite. Wristbands are required to ride the rides, and you can purchase them online for up to $20 off door price as long as they are purchased before midnight the day before you plan to go.
Roaring Camp Railroads
You can ride the old steam train through the Santa Cruz Mountains or hang out in the old town of Roaring Camp. Ideal for families and history lovers.
Los Gatos Soda Works
Must be 21 or over to enter. This bar is a two minute drive from Toll House Hotel, or a seven minute walk. Reservations are required and can be made on their website or by calling.
