Hotel Greene
We don't want to spoil the surprise, but this is one of the most fun things to do in Richmond! We love coming here for date night and grabbing one of their fantastic cocktails. Bonus points for being in walking distance of The Graduate.
Maymont
One of the most beautiful parts of Richmond. We love coming here to view the gardens and take a lovely walk. There is also a super cute petting zoo!
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Do you like viewing free art? So do we! They always have a rotating gallery that is worth seeing. Don't forget to check out their sculpture garden, it's lovely in the spring.
Pocahontas State Park
Great nature trials if you are itching for a hike. We got engaged on Beaver Lake Trail!
The Byrd Theatre
Best old timey movie theatre in town! This theatre is also located in Carytown so you can see a show and do some window shopping.
Scott's Addition Historic District
This neighborhood of Richmond has great breweries and restaurants. Our first apartment was on the border of this neighborhood. Our favorite breweries are Ardent, Väsen, and The Veil.
