FAQs

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to venue restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 17 on our wedding day.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation, and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal or "dressed-up" attire. Think church-appropriate with a relaxed, rustic touch: sundresses, jumpsuits, blouses with skirts or dress pants, collared shirts, sport coats, or casual suits. Please, no jeans or overly casual wear. The ceremony will be held in a church, followed by an outdoor reception on the Doster Farm—so we also recommend shoes suitable for grass. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony begins. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will try to be as accommodating as possible, as the bride understands what it is like to have allergies. Within the RSVP, please mark your accommodation request or text 515-227-2574.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 20th, 2025.

Question

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since we’ll be celebrating outdoors on grass, think sturdy yet stylish! Avoid heels that might sink into the ground—wedges, block heels, or chic flats are great options. Comfortable shoes will help you enjoy the night without worrying about tricky terrain!
