Please fly into José María Córdova International Airport (MDE), which serves Medellín and is located approximately 45–60 minutes from the city, depending on traffic
Most guests traveling with a U.S. passport do not need a visa for tourist visits to Colombia. However, guests traveling with passports from other countries should verify entry requirements. You must complete the Check-Mig immigration form before your trip. The form can be completed online up to 72 hours before your flight (and no later than 1 hour before departure) and helps streamline the immigration process upon arrival and departure from Colombia. The Check-Mig form is free and can be completed through the official Migración Colombia website: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/en
Yes. Transportation is available from the airport to the hotel and wedding venue. We will provide contact information and a booking link so you can arrange transportation that best fits your schedule. Uber is also a safe and convenient option in Medellín.
Yes! We will be providing complimentary shuttle service between select hotels within our room block and the wedding venue. Shuttles will be available both before the ceremony and after the reception to help guests travel to and from the celebration safely and conveniently. Additional details, including participating hotels, pickup locations, and shuttle schedules, will be shared closer to the wedding date. Please check back for updates as we finalize transportation arrangements.
Yes, children are welcome at the wedding day event on October 17, 2026, only. Unfortunately, our welcome party venue, Inzolente, has a strict 18+ policy and does not allow guests under the age of 18. We kindly ask that you do not bring any minors to the welcome party, as they will not be permitted entry.
We are currently working with each hotel to secure either discounted group rates or promotional booking codes for our guests. We expect this information to be available by July 1, 2026, and will share it as soon as we receive it.
We recommend the following hotels for our guests: 1. Novotel Medellín El Tesoro Located next to El Tesoro Shopping Mall, Novotel is in a safe, upscale area with excellent restaurants, shopping, and beautiful city views. It offers a quieter atmosphere than the nightlife districts. The groom’s family will be staying here. 2. Click Clack Hotel Located in Provenza, one of Medellín’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, Click Clack is surrounded by trendy restaurants, rooftop bars, cafés, and nightlife. 3. Selvario 36 Located in Provenza within walking distance of many of Medellín’s best restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. It offers a more intimate atmosphere while still placing you in the center of the city's nightlife district.
We recommend staying in El Poblado or Envigado, which are among the safest and most popular areas for visitors in Medellín. Our favorite areas in El Poblado are El Tesoro, Los Balsos, Provenza, Manila, and Milla de Oro. These neighborhoods offer great restaurants, shopping, and easy access to transportation and wedding events. We generally recommend avoiding accommodations directly next to Parque Lleras, as the area can be noisy late into the evening.
