One of my first dates with Nathan was walking around National Harbor area together. The Peep Store just opened up and was handing out funny hats and I made Nathan wear it around for the rest of the date. It was a great memory, so I decided to revisit the area for the proposal. Nathan thought it was just a fun date night and was very surprised. We went out for a nice dinner and afterwards walked down to the waterfront around sunset. I got us a private gondola on the ferris wheel and popped the question on our way back down :)
