November 29. My first time ever getting on a cruise. I had been afraid of them since I was little, but somehow life— or God— decided to reward me with a family completely obsessed with them. Ironic. But Nathan insisted that we go watch the sunset. We walked, talked about life, and when the sun began to disappear, he asked me to record a video so we could take photos from it later. When he walked back toward me… he was crying. He knelt down and told me that after seeing what a life with me could be like, he couldn’t imagine a life without me. And there, with the ocean behind us and my heart racing, I said yes.
