On September 10th, 2021, I met you, Nate, the love of my life. When I first met you, I couldn’t help but think, why is he talking to me like he already knows me? You were asking me so many questions and trying to get me to talk to you. By the end of the night, I knew I wanted to know more. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted a family, a family that stays in on a Sunday, watches movies, and just spends time together. As I got to know you more, I knew I wanted that with you. I’ve never met somebody who is exactly the same as me, how we think, how we express ourselves, even down to our weird food combos. But the one thing that really got to me was our love for Jehovah, how we both want to worship Him and put Him first in our lives. I thank Jehovah every day for the man He brought to me, you, the most loyal, loving, caring, providing, hard-working man. Someone who cheers me up when I’m feeling down, who checks on me when I’m sick, who will drive five hours just to see me when I miss him, even if it’s only for 48 hours. The distance has been difficult, but for you, I would do it all over again because you are worth it. This relationship is worth it. Being far away is hard, especially when all you want to do is be next to the person you love, but that distance is what made our love even stronger. I can’t wait to start this journey of life with you. Te amo, mi amor.
From the first time I saw your smile, Tamara, something in me knew that I wanted to see it everyday. Your laughter has become the soundtrack to my peace, and the way your eyes light up when you’re happy reminds me that love isn’t just something we say, it’s something we see, something we feel, something we build together. I love the quiet moments most when you rest your head on my shoulder after a long day, when you write me little letters that say more than a thousand words could. I love how you check in on me when I’m working late, never out of worry, but out of love, the kind that sees, that believes, that supports. Your understanding heart, your ability to change perspective, and the strength you carry with such grace — these are the things that humble me. I love how you dance even when no one’s watching, how your confidence shines in the way you walk, speak, and carry yourself. You are beauty in motion, inside and out. But if I had to choose one thing I love most — it’s your trust. Your trust in Jehovah, and your trust in me. The way you allow me to guide us through this life, knowing that I put Jehovah first, and you my first priority, always. That trust has built the foundation of our love and made it something unshakeable. As our love continues to grow, I see more clearly the blessing that you are. I thank Jehovah every day for bringing you into my life, and I’m humbled by the thought that soon, I’ll get to call you my wife. Our story is one of faith, patience, laughter, and unwavering love and I promise to spend my life making sure you always know how deeply you’re cherished.
