Stacey and Nate met through online dating while both living in Santa Rosa, CA. After their first encounter, each was curious about the other. They continued to hang out, getting to know one another. They developed a wonderful friendship and connection. On December 17, 2016, they shared the most phenomenal kiss ever. They started dating the next day.
In Fall 2017, Nate received a job offer providing the opportunity to return to working in the mining industry. Ready for an adventure and very much in love, Stacey and Nate bought a house and moved to the area of Elko, NV in the beginning of 2018. Since then, Nate has continued working in the mining industry as a Geologist, now in a Supervisor role. Stacey has gone with the ebb and flow of the local mental healthcare scene, working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. They've enjoyed exploring the Ruby Mountain area and traveling when they can. Over time they have built a community for themselves, and have come to the deep realization that 'home' really is 'where the heart is,' and that is with each other. The couple got engaged in June 2019. However, original wedding plans got adjusted when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Stacey and Nate tied the knot via a local courthouse wedding and small reception on 06/26/2020 (exactly 4 years after the first time they met), with the plan to do a larger wedding and reception when the time allowed. That time is summer 2022 and they couldn't be more excited to see you at their "big wedding" in July! They're next adventure... Becoming parents! Baby Bricker due Spring 2022!
