It all began at the Ephrata Rec Center, where fate decided we would first meet. I first noticed Nate when he was shooting basketball, I was about to leave the gym but something in me told me I had to say hello. He looked familiar, and we discovered we both worked at Ephrata Hospital in the operating room. We exchanged names, and from that point on our paths intertwined. We would say hi in the hallways, make each other laugh, and run into each other at the gym. It didn't take long before we matched on Bumble, the dating app that would lead to our first official date. Talking with Nate felt effortless, my nerves melted away, we laughed and I had a sense that this was something special. Dates followed, and we became a couple on February 21, 2023! Fast forward to December 21, 2024, at Nate's family's bay house in Maryland- this is when he popped the question! I always thought I would know when I would get proposed to, but he kept it a complete surprise. Little did I know, he had already talked with his family, asked my dad for his permission, and had the ring in his pocket the whole drive there! It was the best day ever and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to say "yes" to forever. Now, as we prepare to celebrate our wedding, we cherish our journey that began with a simple hello and blossomed into a lifetime of love and laughter.
