Old Port of Montreal
This is such a fun and beautiful area with that historic European flair. The cobblestone streets and old buildings are so picturesque. In the summer there are often street performers and outdoor markets in the square. Definitely a place to check out!
Beaver Lake
This is a beautiful park that leads up to a pavilion overlooking Montreal! It is only a short walk up to the overlook with a paved road or trails all over the mountain.

Chocolate lovers' dream. Fun restaurant to fulfill all your chocolaty cravings.
Queues de Castor
If you are in Canada for the first time and wanting to try a new delicious desert, this is the place to go! Plus, it's in old port so you can walk around and explore the pretty views along the water. I took Nathan here during his first visit to Montreal!
Poutine Centrale
Another must try if this is your first visit to Quebes is poutine! This Quebecois dish is comprised of french fries, cheese curds, and poutine gravy. At Poutine Centrale, they go above and beyond with all the fancy fixings.

This is an amazing restaurant where the food just keeps coming! You cook the food on grills right in front of you, so it's literally made however you want it. Make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and plenty of room in your stomach for a savory dinner.
