Maid of Honor
Mirna is my baby sister and my best friend. It has been wonderful seeing her grow up into such an amazing young woman. Mirna is the type of person who is always there for her family and friends, she is the type of person you can always count on. I met the lucky groom, Nathan a few years ago and I knew right away that he was the perfect match for my sister. I can't wait to be apart of their special day.
Best Man
Nathan and I met at church when he was in high school. It started when I was his life group leader, and it is grown into a great friendship over the years. We've driven around drinking coffee and having deep conversations about Texas barbecue, that school in Austin, and the pride of our education. My favorite ride was when we went out and he told about Mirna. It was awesome to hear him describe his growing affection for her. Our friendship has grown in the past decade. I can't wait for the talks we'll have as his unity with Mirna grows stronger with their marriage.

We were bestfriends in elementary, middle school, and high school. We were bestfriends in college, we are bestfriends now, and will even be bestfriends in the retirement home. Friendship like the one Mirna offers is one of a kind and hard to find. Best friends forever!

Mirna and I met in high school and I don't think either of us expected to become as close as we did. She is one of my best friends and I couldn't imagine going through the journey of life without having such a kind hearted person along the way.
Groomsman
I first met Nathan on a trip to Ft. Benning, Georgia where we were supposed to help out a Marine Detachment. On the trip we struck a fast friendship when we realized that we shared the same taste for music and, more importantly, that we shared the same faith. Nathan has became a close friend of mine since and we will remain brothers in faith and in arms.

Nathan and I met as members of the Ross Volunteer Company our junior year at A&M, but we became great friends on our Corps Excursion to China just before our senior year. We made it a priority to say goodbye to Northgate the right way in case the communist hordes didn’t let us return, and ended up being roommates throughout the trip; avoiding wiretapped hotel rooms and commie spies wherever we galavanted across Asia.

Howdy all! Mirna and I first became friends when we realized we had history class together our freshman year! She was actually my first friend in college ever! We talked and hung out together throughout our college years but our friendship really took off our senior year when we became commander and executive officer for Color Guard! After that, we were inseparable! Our schedules included lots of hard training, late night study dates that turned more into late night chats, outings at the chicken & a couple of hand grenades after an unrecognized victory! Throughout this time, Nathan & Mirna were already dating but because I was her friend first, he became our third wheel! I love them both dearly & I am excited to see what God has in store for these two!

Nathan and I met in a Nuclear Engineering class. I stuck around with him to do homework and then we decided to room together Junior year at A&M. Life was pretty good when we weren’t killing each other. Anyways he is pretty cool and we are still friends after surviving college together.

Meowdy y'all! My name is Julieanna Diaz. I was Mirna's "Ol' lady" (college roomie) throughout our time in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University. After sharing a dorm room the size of Harry Potter's closet, we had become incredibly close. So close that we were always mistaken for each other and had become "Cardiaz." Mirna has always been someone I could count on; whether that be sneaking out of Corps activities to go get Chuy's chicken tortilla soup, studying at Quadbucks, or of course having one too many drinks at Northgate. I'd like to take some credit on how Mirna and Nathan came to be, but that's for another day... so excited to be a part of Mirna and Nathan's special day! ALSO I proposed first Nathan!

Nate and I met through mutual friends at Church. We went to St. Michael the Archangel in Downtown Pensacola where our great pal Carlos introduced us and we took up some interesting conversations all across the spectrum. Ever since July 2019, we continued going to church together and developing our friendship. Our bond was being built by a foundation in faith, our love for the Marine Corps, and our American spirit. Nate, congrats on getting hitched and I wish you and your lovely bride to be many years of true happiness! God Bless!

Mirna & I met my last semester at A&M in our OCS prep class. We then attended OCS together that following summer for a gruesome ten weeks. Funny things is that even though she lived only two beds away from me, I never actually saw her until about week 5. If you don't know at OCS, you stand still as a statue unless you're told to move. Come the last few weeks; the instructors loosened the reins a little allowing Mirna and I to catch up & make fun of how bad our day was & talk about Nathan of course. From the start of our friendship, I could always count on Mirna for her positivity & lighthearted nature. She's a force to be reckoned with. She easily became one of my best friends in a short amount of time, & I can't wait to see where life takes her and Nathan.

Howdy, I first met Nathan at Texas A&M when he began showing up to Marine physical training in blue and gold Navy PT gear. Out of pity, I took Nathan under my wing and taught him the ways of the crayon eaters. After we realized that we both had resting female dog faces, and did not actually dislike each other, we developed a strong friendship based on mutual love of the M240-B medium machine gun, the Tridentine Latin Mass, and sharing of spicy memes. I am a better man for having Nathan as a friend and brother in Christ.

I met Mirna at Landrum Middle School in 2007. Mirna & I instantly began a special friendship. We were inseparable for those three years we were in Landrum. We wanted to be the cool nerds. I think that's what made us closer. Mirna never really talked about wanting to date someone. I always knew that whoever she was going to date was going to be something serious. Unfortunately, we did not attend the same high school or college. While in high school, there were still no talks about a good boyfriend from Mirna. Not until she met Nathan at Texas A&M. I began to hear this name Nathan often & how sweet & cute he was. I knew this guy was something special to her. She wasn't going to let this one go. And well she didn't & here they are now! I know she loves Nathan & he sees Mirna just how she is.
