Question

Where do you recommend staying for hotels?

Answer

We recommend staying in one of the hotels we blocked rooms for, either the La Banque Hotel or Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, since we will be having the shuttle bus pick up and drop off guests at these locations. However, there are also plenty of hotel accommodations available nearby otherwise. If you choose not to stay in one of the blocked hotels, we recommend choosing a hotel in Tinley Park. Tinley Park is located only 15 minutes from the venue. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm at the Ravisloe Country Club's courtyard. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors as long as it is weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30 in the courtyard (same location as the ceremony) where there will be passed hors-d'oeuvres and open bar.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses!

What colors will the bridesmaids and groomsmen be wearing?

Answer

Our bridesmaids will be wearing light pink dresses and the groomsmen will be wearing royal blue suits.

What happens if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Will transportation be provided to and from the blocked hotels?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle bus provided to and from the blocked hotels (La Banque Hotel and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott). For more information regarding the schedule of the shuttle bus, please see the "Travel" tab.

Where should I park? Is parking free? Is it ok to park overnight?

Answer

Ravisloe Country Club will have parking available and it will be free! It is OK to park overnight. The gates are locked at the end of night when everyone leaves and will open in the morning around 6am.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! The venue will be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions. If you have any dietary restrictions, please either mark it down on the space available on the RSVP card or please let Nate or Michelle know.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar during cocktail hour and during the reception.
