Inseparable (literal kicking and screaming to pull them apart) since 7th grade, these two have been there to celebrate every accomplishment and cry through every failure life has thrown their way. Still, through all the waves of life, these two have remained a home base the other can lean on, even if it’s just a quick FaceTime to showcase a gnarly bruise. Nowadays you can find Jo playing with her pup Dolly or being a total badass in the Phoenix Police Academy, a total babe!

Jon has been my best friend for what feels like forever — the kind of friend who’s seen it all, stuck around through it all, and somehow still answers my calls at 2 a.m. He’s loyal to the core, endlessly funny, and the first person to show up when you need help (even if he’s probably the reason you need help in the first place). With his signature long hair and laid-back attitude, Jon has a way of making every moment lighter and every memory better. He might not always have the best ideas, but he’s the guy you can always count on to make you laugh and remind you not to take life too seriously. I couldn’t imagine this day without him standing beside me.
