It all started with a phone app called, "Bumble" on a Friday in early September 2016. A swipe 'right' and a few text messages/phone calls later, we met for the first time on October 9, 2016 for an all-day date at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD. Despite the distance, we decided to make it official November 4, 2016! After many Penn State games, family gatherings, and a few life changes, Nathan proposed on December 15, 2018 at Longwood Gardens in front of some of our very best friends. With God as our foundation, we choose to love each other and support each other through the commitment of marriage. I (Maria) can't wait for our long-distance to finally be over!
