We met in the fall of 2017 at Merrimack College, and it didn’t take long for us to start dating on December 19th. We've been together for 7 amazing years.

On November 9th, 2024, Margarita was out shopping with a few of her girlfriends when Nate mentioned that some friends were meeting at a local restaurant in Seaport, Boston. Margarita was hesitant and had planned to stay in that night, but Nate convinced her to go for just 'one drink.' As they took the T into the city, Nate couldn’t stop talking, and somehow they 'accidentally' took a wrong turn. When they turned the corner into Fort Point in Seaport, Margarita was surprised to see a beautiful arrangement of candles and flowers, set up by Maribel, Alice, and Salvador. As they got closer, Margarita realized that they weren’t meeting anyone at all. With that, Nate dropped to one knee and proposed.
