Wedding Party

Evan Hori

Best Man

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Nate for almost my entire life, which means I’ve got a front-row seat to all the laughs, adventures, and fun stories that have shaped him into the amazing guy he is today. From hunting down the best eats, spontaneous fishing trips, storytelling sessions, adventures around the world, the endless dumb jokes, and encouraging each other in our walks with the Lord - it’s been a fun ride so far. I couldn’t be happier to celebrate this next chapter with him and Marg!

Audrey Tengan

Maid of Honor

Margaret has been my best friend from the womb. We have been inseparable for the majority of our lives. Between spending every waking second together and our twin telepathy (it's a real thing), I know Margaret better than anyone. Nate's got 22 years and shared DNA to catch up with me on that one. I like to think that I was involved from the early stages of Marg and Nate's relationship considered he first started texting her on a group chat that included me. I'm still not quite sure what his game plan was with that but hey, he got the girl. I did come out of that group chat with an arsenal of embarrassing photos and dance videos he sent us hoping to get Marg's attention - I will happily share with anyone who asks to see those. I love Nate and Marg dearly and am so excited to celebrate with them!

Caleb Williams

Groomsman

I'm Caleb and I've known Nate his entire life... because I'm his older brother! Growing up with Nate was an adventure, he has always been the fiercest competitor, the most unpredictable family member, a sometimes puzzling decision-maker, and a passionate brother. Over the years we've had aggressive games of Scrabble, wandered the Eastern Sierras, roasted each other frequently, bullied Kai on the basketball court (I can't do that anymore), served at Mt. Hermon, and had many deep heart to hearts in hot tubs. Through it all, he has always been one of my biggest supporters and friends. It has been a blessing from the Lord to literally see him grow from a baby to the man he is today and I am honored to stand by his side as he enters into this new season of life.

Katherine Kearns

Bridesmaid

Being Margaret's big sister of 9 years has always been a blessing and an honor. I have watched her blossom from a shy, timid tom-boy who only wore basketball short and Nike sweatshirts... to the smart, mature, dynamic woman she is today. Growing up as her "second mom" to becoming best friends a little later in life has truly been such a gift. It has been a joy to have Marg (and Nate!!) in the PNW the last few years. We love hosting them at our house in Seattle, and they love coming just as much (; Getting to know Nate has been easy; he is intentional with him time and it's obvious how much he cares for others and his community. We are so lucky to be adding him to our family!! I am so excited to stand alongside them as they embark on this journey together!!

Kai Williams

Groomsman

As Nathan’s younger brother I have learned two things. The first thing is everything you should not do in front of your parents and the second is how to be your unapologetic self. Many of my memories involve Nathan being not afraid to speak his mind and go straight after what he wants. He carries this mentality in all aspects of his life including his faith, friendships, and career which make him uniquely my brother. I am thankful and excited to see Margaret and him spend the rest of their lives together!

Naomi Makin

Bridesmaid

I’m Naomi, Margaret’s college roommate and bestie since we were as young as 19 years old. We’ve been attached at the hip since, I even make her bed and do her dishes! Jokes aside Marg is kind and compassionate and I’ve been blessed/ honored to be her bridesmaid. Let’s get the Williams married!!!!

Alec Hays

Groomsman

Sir Alexander is an associate of Nate’s from college, hailing from the small town of Seattle. As a fellow 6’4” brethren, Alec and Nate bonded over a shared life perspective and a bottomless taco-sized hole in their stomach.

Maddie Pribyl

Bridesmaid

Hi I'm Maddie, one of Marg's college roommates and now bridesmaid! Margaret and I have been best friends since freshman year of college, and somehow we've managed to survive nursing school without losing our minds (mostly). From late-night games to countless "flirtatious 4" memories, she truly has been a steady, loving presence through it all. I couldn’t be more excited to stand by her now!

Karson Utzinger

Groomsman

Hello! My name is Karson Utzinger, and I got to know Nate throughout our time together at Chapman. For part of our senior year we actually shared an apartment together! It was a blast having a solid friend around, praying through things together, and learning from all of Nate's epic eating habits! Except of course, his passion for canned tuna! I love Nate, count it a blessing to have him in my corner and am honored to get to be a part of their big day.

Dorie Hernandez

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Dorie and I’ve been roomies with Marg since our freshman year of college! She’s truly one of my besties and I love all of the memories we’ve made over the years together. We’ve truly been through it all, with so many inside jokes and deep convos late at night about what our futures will look like and our very long baby name lists! I am so so excited to stand by Marg on her and Nate’s special day and I can’t wait to see what their future holds!!

Joey Rouly

Groomsman

Hey hey hey! My name is Joey, and I have known Nathan since middle school and played basketball with him ever since! We also like to embark on many spontaneous adventures together such as living out of a van while working on a farm in Maui, and traveling the world together to Japan and Europe.

Natalie Sakoda

Bridesmaid

Hello!! I am beyond blessed to have had Marg as a sweet friend for so many years. She's a hooper, and I somehow got to play with her growing up and even in Japan!! Our friendship ranges from giggling and dancing a 1 am during sleepovers (1 am is too late for us these days) to sweet, intentional conversations about life. When I overlapped with Nate at Chapman my first year, I would listen to him yap all about Marg and the what-ifs. I knew there was something special for them, and I am so excited to witness what started as a boy + girl liking each other to a deep, Jesus-centered marriage!!

Lucas Lam

Groomsman

Hey y’all! My name is Lucas Lam. I live out in Texas these days, but Nathan and I go way back. We grew up at the same church, so I’ve known Nate and Marg for many years. Nate and I really became close around 5th grade when we joined the same basketball team. From there we were pretty inseparable, two peas in a pod vibes. If you saw one of us, the other wasn't far behind. Countless hours of horse, working out, uncontrollable laughing, and mischief you get into during your teenage years. I like to think part of Nate’s competitive drive came from all the times I used to cook him in our 1-on-1 games, though he might remember that a little differently. To me, Nate is one of those rare friends you grow up with through every stage of life. We shared the joys of childhood, the chaos of our teenage years, and eventually the process of becoming the men we are today. Through it all, he has always been a steady presence in my life and a light during some of my darkest hours. I’m grateful for a brotherly bond that doesn’t bend to time or distance. One thing I’ve always admired about Nate is the sincerity with which he seeks to follow the Lord. In a world where many people try to hold tight to control, Nate consistently has chosen to trust and submit to God’s direction. I’m incredibly excited for what God has ahead for Nathan and Margaret. It’s an honor to stand beside him on the big day and I’m excited to celebrate with y’all!

Katelyn Murata

Bridesmaid

Hi, I'm Katie! I've known Marg since about third grade. We really grew close during out time at Mount Hermon and while playing basketball on the Mochi Monsters, which was such a fun part of our childhood. Some of my favorite memories with her are our sleepovers and staying up late making silly videos. I'm excited for Marg and Nate as they get married. It feels like we've been talking about this day since we were little girls!!

Tyson Murata

Groomsman

Hello! My name is Tyson and one of my most memorable moments with Nate was the last time I beat him in basketball, which was at Mount Hermon Jr high camp 10 years ago. I first met Nate when we were kids at Lifesong, and it’s been such a blessing to grow through different seasons of life together. He’s been a source of constant joy, excitement, and encouragement and I’m so excited for this next chapter for him and Marg!

Brooklyn Chang

Bridesmaid

Hi!! I'm Brooklyn, and I've known Marg since elementary school - we met before basketball, but that's where we really became friends. We played on an orec team called the Pink Fluffy Unicorns, and she's been a baller ever since. In high school we went to rival schools, sneaking hugs before games and always grabbing food after to catch up. We survived long-distance college years, and now we're somehow getting married two weeks apart. No matter the season, when we're together it's like no time has passed - even if that means crying over rom coms and of course High School Musical (again).
