Are kids welcome?
Answer
We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event with an exception to the wedding party. We respectfully request that no children attend the ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Is there parking onsite?
Answer
Yes! Country Lane Lodge has a large parking lot with plenty of spots. You can leave your car parked there overnight as long as you have it picked up by noon the next day.

Is there transportation to and from the the wedding venue?
Answer
Uber/Lyft rides are available in our area to bring you to the venue if you do not plan on driving. Keep in mind that Uber/Lyft pickups can take up to 20 minutes. There will be an evening shuttle taking guests from the reception back to the hotel starting at 9 PM. You can find more details about this under the 'Hotel & Shuttle Info' tab.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor dinner. Guests can enjoy the outdoor patio throughout the evening.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask that guests dress in formal cocktail attire. This includes suits, sport coats, dress shirts with slacks, floor length gowns, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, and dressy jumpsuits. No denim or jeans, please. Keep in mind that the ceremony will take place outdoors.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! When you RSVP for the reception, you can note any allergies or dietary restrictions that you or anyone else listed under your RSVP may have. Our caterers will prepare a separate plate for you. Be sure to ask for it once your table is dismissed for dinner.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! We will have a hosted bar serving drinks from 5 PM to 11 PM. Please do not drink and drive. We encourage you to utilize the shuttle or take an Uber/Lyft ride home.

Where can we go after the reception?
Answer
If you are looking to extend your night past the reception, feel free to join us in downtown Waukee. There are three bars in the downtown area--Norm's Pub, The Kee, and Kenny's Garage. You will find pool, darts, outdoor patios, a pickleball court, and live music between the three bars. Downtown Waukee is located between Adel and West Des Moines. The 11 PM shuttle will drop guests off here on its way back to the hotel.
