Yes really. We met through a mutual friend we had. On Facebook. He added me and of course I added him back because HELLO who could resist a guy in uniform?! Am i right ladies? Next thing I know, he messaged me and asked if he knew me from somewhere. I started asking about youth camps maybe? or even at church sometime. Long story short, we eventually started talking and that led to a date where we met up and drove around Henderson and immediately had a connection. We talked about everything under the sun and it was instant magic between us. We had both just gotten out of relationships so we talked a lot about what happened and what do you know, similar circumstances. Two unappreciated people who were dedicated to a lifetime of love and happiness. It was there that we vowed to show each other as much appreciation as we could give to each other. A few weeks later, I was going to church with him at West Corinth Church of Christ where I met his parents for the first time and the after a few weeks, he came to church with me and he met my parents. Little did I know this would lead to our beginning. Or should I say, our beGINNing. Nathan and I had been through a lot before we met each other and I think its safe to say that we saved each other from a life of misery and a fast path to pushing people away because of risking our already fragile hearts. We were very patient in the beginning with each other and that has meant the world to both of us. Part of the reason we work so well together, is our willingness to be patient and our great affection and general charismatic attitude about other people. Here's to a lifetime of happiness and patience as much as patience will allow and handing all the orange skittles over. <3
