Liz and MacKenzi have been friends for about 18 years, ever since Liz transferred to Saint Gerard Elementary school. The two have been mostly inseparable, attached at the hips type of friends from the start, dreaming and talking about their future weddings. It is truly insane to believe that the big day is so close to coming to life! Of course, I wouldn’t have picked anyone else to stand by my side for one of the big moments in our life. From talking about our new crushes, to finally getting married. I love you, Liz, thank you for being by my side through the mundane, exciting, thick, thin, ups and downs. I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
Steven Lacroix
Best Man
Steven is Nate's younger brother and you'd be hard pressed to find a closer pair of brothers on the planet. A love of sports, video games, stage crew, philosophy, Star Wars, anime, and music have deepened their connection over the last 26 years. Steven, from growing up watching you obsess over baseball to seeing the man you've grown into has been an incredible privilege. No matter where we go in life or how far apart we are; we've always had a very special friendship, from looong car rides to baseball tournaments or summer camp to late night gaming sessions that descend into nothing but giggle fits or stream of consciousness discussions about whatever topics catch our attention to waking up early on Sunday mornings to watch Formula 1 races. Even though we don't live that close to each other anymore you'll always be the Sammy to my Dean and the best little brother anyone could ever ask for. Love you dude. Now let's get ready to PARTY!!!
Nicole McDaniel

Nicole and MacKenzi met while working overnights in an emergency veterinary hospital in 2021. Their common interests, many down time conversations, and both of their passions for animals have led them to grow a deeper connection. Meeting Nicole has been one of the best things to happen to my career as well as receiving the constant encouragement, positivity, teachings (many of them), and unwavering support. Even now, as I plan my own wedding, Nicole is guiding us through while also keeping things honest! Nicole- I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express my gratitude and awe of you. You are such a strong, intelligent woman and can only hope and dream to be like you. I love you girlie 🫶 ESBH for life ❤️
Olivia St. Germain

Nate met Olivia when they were freshmen in high school and were immediate friends. Throughout the years as both have grown in their lives their friendship has only deepened. From camping in Sault Saint Marie to the many, many, many FaceTime calls to vent about work and coaching, they've maintained an incredibly close friendship. Olivia, you've always been a ray of sunshine and a bolt of chaos in my life. Even though we've spent a lot of our conversations through the years roasting each other and our life choices, I've always been able to depend on you for advice, a listening ear, or to go out and just have fun. I'm so grateful to have had a best friend like you in my life for the last 14(!!!) years and I'm so excited to celebrate with you!
Kaelynn Seestadt

Kaelynn and MacKenzi met through working at a veterinary medicine general practice while attending Michigan State University. Quickly deepening their friendship through mutual hatred, the two learned a lot from each other. MacKenzi learning how to be self confident, badass, and a girl boss (including loving the color pink). Kaelynn learned what things looked like at a taller perspective, driving isn’t as bad as it seems, and dogs are still better than cats 😉. With all jokes aside, Kaelynn- you have been the biggest perspective changer to me. You’re calm, cool, collected, until you have a reason to not be. And you have shown me that being a hater at heart is okay! Thank you for making everyday brighter, the laughs, the cries, and the funny cute Skeeball videos 💕 ESBH for life ❤️

Nate and Dustin met when Liz and Dustin started dating 5ish years ago. Bonding quickly over a shared enjoyment of video games, a shared sense of humor, and bullying Liz, they've been friends ever since. MacKenzi met Dustin when Liz and MacKenzi started hanging out again. Through humor, board and card games, and DnD campaigns, to trips, concerts, and hang out sessions, MacKenzi and Dustin's friendship grew too. Dustin, we are so excited to have you in our party! You've been an amazing partner to Liz and friend to us. We couldn't be more grateful to have someone like you in our lives, from your kindness and patience when we invade your home for DnD to your quick wit and brutal comebacks, you've fit in so perfectly with us and with Liz. Can't wait to party with you!
