We hope our wedding weekend will be a nice getaway for you no matter where you stay, but if you're really wanting to enjoy the area before our festivities begin, we couldn't recommend staying in a cute house in Round Top more! Based on proximity to Henkel Square ("downtown" Round Top) you could be within walking distance to great coffee, restaurants, and shopping. I found this website to be a good resource, but many of these homes are listed on Air BnB as well.

Staying in Burton will make travel time to our wedding the shortest, but anything in the Round Top/ Brenham area should be no more than about 15 minutes away.
