When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, check out the Gift Registry above. Click on the tab the says "Our Gift Registry <3". We are registered with Zola, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Crate and Barrel. on the registry are things that we would like as we begin our lives together. Think of it like a wish list! Of course a card with cash or gift cards are welcome on the day of our wedding, you don't have to buy us something from the registry. In-store purchases may be made at the companies listed on the registry tab, or you can order gifts online. If you wish, you can ship the item directly to our home through the online link, or you can ship it to your own house and bring it to the Wedding. Any and all gifts or cards are much appreciated. Cards, cash, venmo, and gift cards are always appreciated as well and can be dropped off on the day of the wedding. Thank you for making us feel loved!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: men should dress in a suit or wear a sportscoat, slacks, and tie (no sneakers, no jeans, no t-shirts/polos). Ladies should wear a Cocktail Dress, Gown, or pantsuit.

Unfortunately, in order to stay within the capacity of our venue’s rules and keep our celebration intimate, we are unable to accommodate any additional guests, not listed on the invitation.

There is plenty of parking at the venue (65 Ridge Rd Newport RI) and staff will direct you where to go once you arrive. There are no rooms available at the venue, please find more information about room-blocks on the Travel Tab

Rough Detailed Schedule:

CEREMONEY – On the LAWN at OCEANCLIFF: Please arrive by 4:15PM. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Lawn (weather permitting) and will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Once on the Lawn, feel free to grab a drink, and the ushers will help you find your seats. Please remember to turn off your cellphones during the ceremony (you will not need to use your phone to take pictures. We have hired a skilled photographers and videographer team). The Wedding Ceremony and prayer will be lead by Rev. Christy Wright. Nathan and Kirsten be exchanging vows during the ceremony. The Ceremony will include a Traditional Mohegan Native American Blanket Ceremony, performed by Chief Lynn Malerba and Medicine Woman Melissa Tantaquidgeon Zobel. COCKTAIL HOUR – On the PATIO at OCEANCLIFF: At the conclusion of the Ceremony, there will be a Cocktail Hour on the Patio with Passed Hors D’oeuvres, from 5pm to 6pm. RECEPTION - GRAND BALL ROOM at OCEANCLIFF: Guests will be welcomed into the Ballroom around 5:45pm, and will find their assigned tables. Shortly after, Introductions and First Dances will take place. Dinner will be served shortly after. When completing your RSVP, kindly include all food allergies and requests. After Dinner, Join the Bride and Groom for Doughnuts and Dancing! The evening will conclude at 10PM. Don’t forget to grab a bottle of Home-Made Blueberry Wine on your way out the door. AFTERPARTY- SAFARI ROOM and HEATED OUTDOOR TENT on the DECK: Want to keep the Party Going? Join the Bride and Groom from 10:30pm – 12pm in the Safari Room to tie one off, have a night cap, and have bite to eat, before turning in for the night (Cash Bar).

Can we use our Cell Phones for Photos?

Simply Put - NO! This is an Unplugged wedding! We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer named Liana who will be capturing the way the wedding looks — and we're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy how the wedding feels. We're respectfully asking that everyone consider leaving all cameras and cell phones off. Of course we will be happy to share our wedding photos with you afterward! IF YOU DO NOT LISTEN NATE WILL THROW YOUR PHONE IN NARRAGANSETT BAY WITH LOVE!

a few cigars may be permitted on the back patio in the evening, other than that there is absolutely NO SMOKING at the venue inside or outside. There is also no vaping.
