White Rock Lake

One of the few green spaces in Dallas -- several miles of trails surround the lake. Our favorite trailhead is on the lower west wide and leads to the White Rock Spillway and Filter Building. (Park at White Rock Alehouse and Brewery.)

Quite a large collection of art and artifacts with free admission. Klyde Warren Park and all its food trucks is across the street, if you're feeling snackish.

Meadows Museum

Free parking, paid admission. A small collection, but well worth the visit if you have any liking for medieval art and icons.
