Wedding Date & Time

Our wedding will be held at Grace Valley Farm on November 2, 2024 at 4pm. The Ceremony will be held in "Lovers Lane". We kindly ask guests to be seated by 3:45pm. The wedding will be followed by a Cocktail Hour with signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and a reception to follow at "The Barn". The Barn is a short ride down the Grace Valley Farm property from "Lovers Lane". The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at Grace Valley Farm. Grace Valley Farm employees will help you navigate from one part of the venue to the next throughout the day and will be happy to help you find things around the venue.

Weather Contingency Plans

Answer

If it is looking to be a rainy day, the ceremony will be located at "The White Magnolia Barn" conveniently located next to the parking lot at Grace Valley Farm by "Lovers Lane". All events will take place on the Grace Valley Farm property. Grace Valley Farm staff will be available to help direct you to the "Plan B" ceremony site.

Hotel accommodations for our wedding are located at: Wingate By Wyndham in Murfreesboro, TN 118 Westgate Boulevard Murfreesboro, TN 37128 We know traveling for a wedding (especially now-a-days) can be quite pricey, so please enjoy and take advantage of 10% OFF their best room rate when you book. To book, please call the hotel direct at 615-640-9900 and mention the discount code "WEDDING RATE". Please also mention the Lutz/Carter Wedding to be sure to receive your discounted rate!

Hotel/Venue Transportation

Upon arrival to he hotel, at Check-In you should receive a handout with the following transportation details: On our special day, we want all of our guests to have fun but also be safe! If you are staying at The Wingate by Wyndham in Murfreesboro, transportation to and from the venue will be provided. Look for a School Bus! ***ADULTS ONLY PLEASE! *** TO WEDDING VENUE: Pick-up time to wedding is 2:00pm - Bus will leave the hotel at 2:15pm on the dot, no exceptions! Ceremony site is at "Lovers Lane" and will begin at 4pm. We kindly ask guests to be seated by 3:45pm. AFTER CEREMONY: Guests who used the bus, will then get back on to take the very short ride down the property to Cocktail Hour and the Reception Barn. BACK TO HOTEL: Bus will leave the venue at 11:00pm (no later than 11:30pm departure) to go back to the hotel. The bus pick-up location is the same as the drop-off at the reception.

Venue Details

Grace Valley Farm is found at 399 Knight Campground Road, Shelbyville, TN 37160. All wedding events will be taking place at Grace Valley Farm in different locations on their beautiful and scenic property. Grace Valley Farm employees with help you navigate parking. Ceremony parking will be located near the ceremony site called, "Lovers Lane". After the ceremony, guests will kindly be asked to get back into their vehicles and take the short drive down Grace Valley Farm's property to "The Barn" where Cocktail Hour and the Reception will be held. Wedding guests with limited mobility will be directed to closer parking spaces and a short golf cart ride to the ceremony site.

Our Christ-centered ceremony will begin at the "Lovers Lane" ceremony site promptly at 4pm. We please ask that guests are seated by 3:45pm with cellphones off and out of sight at this time as we will be having an "unplugged ceremony". Following the ceremony, guests will be encouraged to enjoy an open bar* and hors d’oeuvres at The Pavilion attached to The Barn. *Legal Drivers License must be presented to enjoy the open bar per the venue's rules and regulations.

Cocktail Hour & Reception

Following the ceremony, guests will be encouraged to enjoy an open bar*, hors d’oeuvres, yard games and other fun activities ;) at The Pavilion attached to The Barn. *Legal Drivers License must be presented to enjoy the open bar per the venue's rules and regulations. Staff members will be available to assist you from place to place throughout the day. Guests with mobility concerns may seek the assistance of Grace Valley Farm staff members for assistance into the reception space.

Attire Suggestions

Join us for a day of celebration in comfortable, yet stylish attire! While suits and cocktail dresses are most welcome, seasonally appropriate fall dresses, button downs, and khakis are equally acceptable. We are hoping for a bright, sunny, and pleasant fall day. Black is highly encouraged but in no way required!

Children & Plus Ones

If you are unsure if your children can attend, please check your invitation for the names of invitees. Only guests with a plus one option on the RSVP can bring an additional guest. Thank you for being considerate of our guest count and limited space per our venue.

Photos & Social Media Guidelines

Nathan and I would request that you refrain from recording or taking pictures during the wedding ceremony and just enjoy the moment! Our photographers and videographers will be working hard to capture our special day and we'd appreciate it if cellphones were off and out of sight. Before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and throughout the reception, please feel free to take pictures and share them with us using our unique QR code! (provided at the reception) So we can enjoy looking back through some of your favorite moments of our special day! Thank you for being considerate!
