Little did we know that signing up for Luke 18 in 7th grade would lead to us finding our soul mates. We didn't know each other because we went to different schools, but once Nathan walked into the main hall, Katie knew she had to talk to him. Everyone had started playing this game called "Elbow Tag" and that was her way of meeting Nathan. After that first elbow tag and a quick introduction, Katie and Nathan went out of their way to spend as much time together as they could. After Luke 18 was over, Katie and Nathan continued to grow closer as "friends who were a boy and a girl" as Katie's mom would say until they were old enough to date (16 years old was apparently the age you're allowed to date according Katie's mom, Kim). Now, Katie and Nathan own a home together, are raising the cutest golden retrievers, Arlo and Lily, together, and are so excited to be getting married!
