We first met in Lakeland, FL at the Henderson's archery shop. Nathan was running the shop and I was in town for a fundraiser for Pineapples of Peace, a non-profit based out of Nicaragua. We spent the evening working the range together - I pinned balloons on the targets and Nathan taught the kids how to shoot.

Nathan proposed to me while on a joint family trip to Little Gasparilla Island, one of our favorite places. After a short walk on the beach Nathan popped the question and I said yes :) We spent the evening celebrating with our families - first a fishing trip then a steak dinner!
