What is the dress code?

Answer

There is no strict dress code. Wear something you feel comfortable in while looking nice for the occasion. Semi-formal attire is perfect, but ultimately, we want you to enjoy yourself and feel good!

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

We love your little ones, but kindly ask that only children on either side of the families attend, unless stated otherwise on your invitation. If you have a plus one, they will also be included on your invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to get parked and find your seat.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors on a grassy area. Bring an umbrella just in case! There is a short 2 minute walk on a gravel path to reach the ceremony spot, so please keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. For guests who cannot make the walk, please contact (260) 706-1265 for special directions.

How do I get to the ceremony venue?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Homestead Environmental Center just behind the Homestead High School football stadium. You can enter at Indian Meadows Dr and take the road all the way to the parking lot. Signage will direct you to parking and the ceremony spot.

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be about a 40 minute drive between the ceremony and reception. We recommend heading that way after the ceremony and family photos so you have plenty of time to arrive, get settled, and grab a drink before the party begins.

Is there parking available at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at the parking lot located at the end of Indian Meadows Dr. There is a short 2 minute walk from the parking lot to the ceremony spot. If you need accommodations, please contact (260) 706-1265 for special directions.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at The Mirage Banquet Hall in Decatur, IN. Cocktail hour starts at 5pm with the reception starting at 6pm. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, so please plan accordingly for the drive between locations.
