What happens if its raining?

Answer

Melbourne might be wet, if rain is heavy - ceremony and cocktail hour all moved inside to reception venue, We also have lots of umbrellas to go around! PRAY TO THE WEATHER GOD THAT IT DOESNT MATTER

Where do I R.S.V.P and by when?

Answer

All RSVP's are to be done via the RSVP tab above, no later than 3rd September please. If we don't hear from you by then, we'll assume you're unable to attend.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Formal | See 'The Vibe' for examples Gents | Suit or Tux. Tie or Bow-tie. No denim or shorts please. Ladies | Go all out and use this as an excuse to whip out that show stopping floor-length velvet gown that looks AMAZING but you never get a chance to wear. There is no grass in sight, you can wear those strappy stilettos with confidence (well, until you're a few champagnes down, then you're on your own)

Gifts or Wishing Well?

Answer

You celebrating with us and making memories is the best gift of all, however if you do wish to contribute to our Euro honeymoon, there will be a wishing well available at Cocktail hour

Are kids welcome?

Answer

You know we love them, but we love the idea of you having a night off to celebrate with us even more. Get a babysitter and enjoy yourself!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We want our day to be an intimate affair, and we are working with limited space, therefore plus ones are by invitation only.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 4pm to settle in, find a spot and enjoy a drink. The ceremony will be starting at 4.30pm SHARP.

Can the venue cater for my dietary requirements?

Answer

Yes - provided you RSVP and note your dietary requirement. Otherwise we will not be able to accommodate on the day.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be hosted outside along with cocktail hour with reception to be hosted inside. We know that Melbourne Cup weekend is notoriously volatile - so if she decides to lash us with rain, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be moved indoors.

Will there be parking?

Answer

We recommend Uber, Taxi or Public Transport so you can fully enjoy yourself and be safe. For anyone driving, there is a parking house across the road from the venue on Butler St. PLEASE NOTE CARPARK CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT Alternatively, North Richmond Station is a 2 minute walk from Butler Lane.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

Please ensure you have eaten before you arrive as canapes won't be served until 5pm. We will serve roaming canapes & drinks. You can also visit the bar to order drinks during this time.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We will host a cocktail hour between 5-6pm | Drinks & Canapes will be served Reception from 6.00pm Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception are all hosted at Butler Lane.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Short answer; no. We'll be having a completely unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones or iPads allowed. We're leaving it to our incredible media team to capture the love! Between 2 photographers, a content creator and a videographer, I'm confident we'll get everything we need.

Can we post to social media?

Answer

Post as many pictures of yourself, the venue, the details, the vibe as your heart desires, who are we to deny? But please refrain from posting any pictures of the bride or groom until they do. Given the couple, you know they'll be putting one up QUICK.. so please hold off; otherwise you'll have Jemma to answer to...
