We’re getting married!

We met at Capital Young Adults summer camp in 2018! We played volleyball and never spoke after that. Fast forward to Hunter getting Benji and all of the sudden Nathan is very interested in hanging out (the man does love dogs). We start hanging out and then caught all the feels in February 2020, Hunter was still an intern at Capital, so we chose to be friends and get to know each better while she finished year 2 of interns. Interns ends, friends become a couple and on 1/1/21 we decided to make boyfriend and girlfriend, fiancé and fiancée!

Some of our favorite memories together have been made outdoors and particularly in the mountains. Our favorite of which was at the start of the new year when Nathan got down on one knee and made it official. We got engaged in Jackson, WY on 1/1/21. Nathan pulled over in front of Jackson Hole and pretended to "get a picture of the mountains" - after going into a loving speech, Nathan proposed in the most magical place we'd visited yet. The six hour car ride to Jackson was much less stressful for Hunter than Nathan, but in the end she said yes!
