How it all started…

Her side: I had never tried online dating before—mostly because I was convinced it was just a place where people posted pictures of their dogs and said things like “I love long walks on the beach.” But then the holidays rolled around and as most single people do, I yearned for someone to share the holidays with. So, my brother convinced me to give it a shot and even helped me create a profile. After a couple weeks of consistently swiping left... I finally built up the courage to go on a real date. There was one specific gentleman who caught my eye. I thought he looked so cool with his mustache and mullet (what was I thinking? lol). His profile was short, simple, and sprinkled with dry humor. No shirtless gym selfies, no “looking for my partner in crime” clichés. Just a guy who likes rocks named Nathan Heyer. His side: I set up a date with Hannah and had no hope that it would go anywhere. When I parked my car I saw her in her really cool Subaru to the left of me and I just said yesss to myself. She wasn’t fat and appeared to be someone I would go after. After our first day, I knew if I had it my way I was going to marry that girl. I remember sneaking pictures of her so I could show my friends…
