We met at a UC Davis event right before Covid started. Neither of us new that a casual hello and dancing would lead to something so special. After a whole night of chatting and getting to know each other, we decided to go on our first date - over bowls of comforting pho that warmed more than just our stomachs. When COVID hit, our plans - and the world - came to a pause. But even miles apart, we found ways to stay close. Long FaceTime calls became our new normal, filled with late-night stories, movie and gaming nights, and endless laughter that made the distance feel smaller. On June 12, 2020, we officially began our journey together, through quarantine, long-distance stretches, and every challenge in between, our bond only grew stronger. Now, a few years (and many adventures) later, we're so excited to start the next chapter of our journey together - this time side-by-side, forever.
