Not only is Ponce Inlet our favorite beach in the area but you can also climb Florida’s tallest lighthouse — 203 steps to the top — for breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, inlet, and coastline. Built in 1887 and beautifully preserved, the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark with fascinating exhibits, original keeper’s quarters, and maritime artifacts. A great mix of history, scenery, and adventure.

Blue Spring is a peaceful escape where crystal-clear 72-degree freshwater flows into the historic St. Johns River, creating a haven for wildlife — especially manatees, who gather here in winter between mid-November and March. During manatee season some water activities are restricted to protect the animals. Also, the spring area can get crowded, so arriving early is always recommended.
