During the pandemic, Dia decided to transfer to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Funny enough, Dia's mother believed Dia was going to find her true love there. A few weeks after she arrived, Dia’s sorority and Nathan’s fraternity participated and were paired up in “Humorology,” a charity play that Nathan directed and Dia acted in. After they met through the play, a friend of Dia’s asked her to bring Nathan to one of her sorority’s date parties. He was the sweetest, most gentlemanly date ever and they had an amazing time! After that night, Nathan was her date to every party!

In March of 2024, Dia and Nathan took a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. On the second night of the trip, Nathan had planned a nice dinner and got Dia out of their hotel room beforehand to explore the city before going out to eat. Little did Dia know, their hotel room was being transformed into a romantic platform for a proposal! Nathan got Dia back to the hotel room, and when she opened the door, she couldn't believe her eyes! He got down on one knee, and they became an engaged couple!
