We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Due to the ongoing pandemic we will be having a second reception well after our wedding date. We want everyone to be safe and comfortable so if you'd prefer to wait to celebrate we understand! We have no idea yet as to when it will happen but once everything calms down we will have more details to share.

One night Grace and I went to Jaden's dorm room. He was hanging out with Lloyd and someone I hadn't met. We went to Walmart for some reason and I got Arnold Palmers for Jaden and Lloyd and thought maybe the other guy would want one too. When we got back to the dorm I passed out the Arnies (Nate says that was the moment he knew I was special), and started chatting with the new guy about who was better Captain America or Iron Man. Jaden has said that he had never seen Nate so chatty before. The next day I was sitting in an absolutely awful class that took a lot of effort to get to and saw Nate walking up the steps. I waved and smiled and then the class started. Nate told me later that after he waved back he was distracted and walked into the wall. I searched for him on faceboook and added him as a friend and we talked throughout the class. He waited for me after the class ended and we went on our first of many walks together.

Nathan asked me to come up to his cabin with him in April. We spent the morning hanging out and when the sun came out Nate asked if I wanted to go on an adventure. We walked down the dirt road and across a little bridge over the lake stream and into the woods. Nate brought me to a special spot that overlooked the lake. He found a tree branch and set his phone upon it to record. He gave me a handwritten letter that ended with "so please say yes". He got down on one knee sand said "Cassandra" and I said "Yes" . He told me I had to wait until he finished asking the question. Once he did I said "yes" again and he was right it was absolutely an adventure.
