Nathan and Callie’s story began in 2017, back in high school, when neither of them had any idea how much life they were about to do together. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something more—although not without a brief plot twist. Nathan reached out first… then decided to stop talking to Callie altogether. After realizing this was one of the worst decisions of his life, he quickly corrected course. Luckily, Callie forgave him, and after only about a week of getting to know each other, they made it official on November 15, 2017. From that moment on, they grew up side by side. They celebrated graduating high school and then faced their first big transition when Callie moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University. Through long-distance stretches, demanding semesters, and plenty of late-night phone calls, Nathan never wavered. He has continued to stand by Callie as her biggest supporter, now cheering her on as she pursues her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian at Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. While their interests couldn’t be more different—Nathan prefers hunting, fishing, and golfing, while Callie thrives in academics and anywhere horses are involved—they are deeply connected by their shared faith in the Lord, strong morals, and the values instilled in them by their families. These foundations have grounded their relationship and carried them through every season of life. On July 18, 2025, Nathan asked Callie to spend forever with him in Fort Worth, Texas, in front of the iconic Drover Hotel, surrounded by their closest friends. In true Callie fashion, the proposal almost didn’t go as planned—she was far too excited about taking photos in front of the hotel and unintentionally derailed everyone’s carefully timed plan for when the proposal was supposed to happen. Thankfully, Nathan pulled it off perfectly, and Callie said yes without hesitation. What began as a high school relationship has grown into a lifelong partnership built on faith, laughter, unwavering support, and a shared vision for the future. Nathan and Callie are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have supported them every step of the way.
