Bailey had a crush on Nathan since freshman year of high school. In the summer of 2014, they finally met when Nathan and his family helped Bailey decorate her classroom for vacation bible school. After their third date at a NeedtoBreathe concert, Nathan asked Bailey to be his "official" girlfriend. The rest is history! The two have now been dating for four and a half years.

Bailey was on vacation with Nathan's family in Cozumel Mexico. The whole family was scheduled to take photos down at the beach that night at sunset. After taking family photos on the dock with the whole family, Nathan suggested to Bailey that they go together down the beach to take a few more photos. With Nathan's brother filming the whole thing and acting as our "photographer" (and with Bailey still clueless about what was to come), Nathan got down on one knee and asked Bailey to marry him. After that, they called and texted family, went to dinner, and enjoyed spending time with one another.

God willing, after college graduation and the wedding, Bailey and Nathan will move to Augusta Georgia for Nathan's 9-month training for the Cyber Branch in the U.S. Army. After the training, Bailey and Nathan have requested that they be transferred to Fort Meade in Maryland.
