When should we arrive in Rio?

We recommend to arrive the weekend before the wedding to explore the city as there are many things to see and do in Rio.

How should we get around in Rio?

Answer

Uber is commonly used in Rio. The metro is also safe and reliable. Public buses are generally not recommended. Walking around during the day is fine, but it is not recommended to walk around at night in uncrowded areas.

What are the best beaches in Rio?

Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana, Leme and Urca are all nice beaches to spend the day at. Make sure to try the mate iced-tea and caipirinhas from the beach vendors and kiosks

Yes children are welcome. Let us know if you will be bringing your children and we will make arrangements.

Will the ceremony or reception be outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail will be outside on a grassy area if weather permits. The reception will be outside but undercover.

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

We prefer to have a no-phones ceremony so please do not use your phones during the ceremony, even to take photos as we will have a professional photographer.
