Anna Kate and Nathan met at Baylor University in 2021 during their freshman year when they both joined BRH Choir. Little did they know what the Lord had in store for them!

Their friendship grew over the next three years, but it wasn't until their senior year that Nathan asked Anna Kate on their first date over Christmas Break to see a musical in Dallas. From that day forward, they were inseparable. He drove an hour from his home in Arlington almost every day to spend time with her during the remainder of that Christmas Break.

When they returned to Waco to finish out their time in college, Nathan was (thankfully) only 10 minutes away, and their relationship continued to bloom! Whether it be attending a worship session or Tri Delta date event, Anna Kate and Nathan were always seen side-by-side. Their last semester was filled with so many sweet memories with each other and their dear friends!

Moving back home post-graduation was a big transition for the both of them, but they quickly fell in love with doing Dallas life together while being close to their families. During the summer, they found their new church home, Watermark Community Church, and went through Merge (Watermark's premartial course) together. Nathan also made the move to Dallas for dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and is now only 25 minutes from Anna Kate.

On September 14, 2025, Nathan took Anna Kate back to Waco to propose under the disguise of a "spontaneous date." That precious day was much like the ones they had experienced in undergrad, with so much joy and laughter! She happily said "YES," and from that moment forward, they made the commitment to chase after Jesus together.

The Lord has continued to mark every step of Anna Kate and Nathan's relationship with faithfulness, grace, and love, and they are overjoyed to have you join them as they begin their new chapter together. Here's to the future Mr. and Mrs. Truong!
