We met in middle school, but became friends in high school. In high school, we had a lot of mutual friends so we always saw each other at parties, sports, etc. In 2019, between other relationships and family health difficulties, somehow, we always ended up calling each other for advice, an ear to listen to, or just to get our mind off of things. Throughout all of that, we ended up figuring out that our friendship was stronger than a friendship and Nate asked me to be his girlfriend in Ocean City, MD on June 8, 2019.
