We met in Georgia, USA, in 2022! Ahreum was staying in Athens for her PhD, and Nathan was in Gainesville, an hour drive away from Athens, for his Internal Medicine residency. Our first date was over a shared love for classic Korean cold noodles (물냉면), where we discovered how easily we could talk to each other about anything and everything. From the lush greenery of Georgia’s rolling hills, vibrant forests, and charming Southern towns, God led us to move west to the dramatic landscapes of Arizona. Nathan first moved to Tucson for Cardiology fellowship in 2023 which led Ahreum to Phoenix for postdoctoral position in 2024. Here, we embraced the stunning red rock formations, and found new adventures in the beautiful cacti-filled sunsets. Our shared journey has continued to be filled with love, laughter, and a sense of trust that we are supporting one another wherever we go. We’re thrilled to share our special day with you at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena, CA, on May 17, 2025. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of our family and friends! 저희는 2022년에 미국 조지아주에서 만났습니다! 아름은 조지아 애센스에서 박사 과정을 밟고 있었고, 진영은 애센스에서 한 시간정도 떨어진 개인즈빌에서 내과 레지던트를 하고 있었습니다. 조지아의 작은 물냉면 집에서 처음 만난 저희는 공통된 음식 취향 뿐만 아니라, 거의 모든 주제에 대해 편하게 이야기할 수 있는 서로를 발견하게 됩니다. 신록이 푸르른 조지아라는 매력적인 남부 도시의 정취에서 벗어나 저희 둘은 신의 뜻에 따라 미국 서부, 아리조나로 이주합니다. 2023년 여름, 심장내과 펠로우십을 시작하기 위해 진영이 먼저 투싼으로 이사했고, 이듬해 아름은 피닉스에서 포스트닥 연구원으로 직장을 구했습니다. 선인장이 가득한, 이국적인 사막의 풍경이 아름다운 아리조나에서 저희는 새로운 모험을 같이하고 있습니다. 그 모험의 여정은 늘 사랑과 웃음, 그리고 어딜 가든지 우리가 함께한다는 신뢰가 바탕이 됩니다. 저희의 새로운 여정의 시작을, 2025년 5월 17일, 캘리포니아 파사데나의 랭엄 헌팅턴 호텔에서 여러분과 함께 나누게 되어 무척 기쁩니다. 저희의 새로운 시작을 사랑하는 가족 친지 여러분들과 함께할 수 있어 영광입니다.
