Abby and Nathan's story began on the campus at Oklahoma State University. Abby's sorority was paired with Nathan's fraternity freshmen year of college. Nathan and Abby met because they had the same group of friends. When Covid happened, all the students had to move back home and finish school online. Nathan and Abby facetimed throughout the week when there was nothing to do. They would watch movies, play video games, and talk to each other for hours over the phone. Eventually, they started liking each other. After lots of conversations with Nathan's parents, Nathan got the green light to come visit Abby and meet her parents in Oklahoma for the weekend. The two agreed that if it ended up being weird, they would just laugh about it and remain good friends. However, it turned out to be the beginning of something new and great with their relationship. A few weeks later, Abby decided to come visit Nathan and meet his big family. On June 6th, 2020, Nathan asked Abby to be his girlfriend at the Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas, and from that day on, they have been inseparable. Their relationship was tested throughout the years with long distance, but their love was stronger for one another than the distance between them. After four years of dating, Nathan got down on one knee and popped the big question, and Abby said yes at the Philbrook in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 3rd, 2024. Abby and Nathan are excited for this new chapter in their lives and cannot wait to celebrate their special day with their family and friends.
