2017 RueBea had moved away to FL and had returned to Greeley to take care of her mom. She loved spending her free time watching her uncle play softball and was interested in playing herself. She didn’t think she was ready to join a team herself though... Nathanael was playing softball with his family team and enjoying being able to get back on the field again after an incident in the early months of the year. He was loving the ball field and having the chance to play with friends and family... One evening she saw a friend from high school- Natasha and spent some time catching up. While catching up- her cousin Roxanne mentioned that RueBea had wanted to start playing softball again. Natasha invited her to play on a coed team shortly after... On the field RueBea was a nervous wreck! She hadn’t played in foreverrrr. Nathanael was offering helpful tips throughout the game... She caught Nathanael's eye and he asked Natasha's help in getting to know her better. After a couple weeks they had the chance to see each other again and the rest is history!
