With those concerned about the current wildfires, we still are planning to have the wedding on the 17th in Maine.

We met in an unexpected way, through a phone dating app called bumble. When we first chatted, I fell in love with how kind, considerate, and handsome Nathan was because at the time I was in my final exams at college. He was super patient and waited months for them to finish, just to be kidnapped in Richmond with me on our first date for 14 hours. After that we both grew to love each other more, it wasn't without its challenges. But still today we strive on communication and understanding each other.

You are probably wondering how the engagement happened, well let me tell you! On January 4th, 2022; at the Be Our Guest dinner in Disney Magic Kingdom! This was my first time ever going to Disney, and it truly was a moment in time I will never forget. Before the dinner took place Nathan had taken a couple of strategic time away to "check why the seating time was taking so long". The hostess showed us around the main dining hall then turned me around to the entrance where we just came from. In this moment my mind was confused, "Why is this lady turning us back to where we just came from, what more do I need to see?". When turning I was pleasantly surprised to see nathan down on one knee with the ring in a wooden heart box and he asked me to marry him. Mind you we were in the center of the dining hall, of course I said YES!!!! That is when everyone in the dining hall clapped and cheered.
