Wedding Party

Viana Newton

Maid of Honor

Viana is a sassy, potion making, wolf loving singer songwriter who is both Katie & Nate's best friend/sister wife. She is the reason Nate and I met each other and we owe her a lot for that. We do not go a day without talking...sometimes a few hours without talking is just plain painful. She will be the first to shot gun a beer with you while sitting and listening to every sad story you have to tell about your crap day. She is magic.

Mariya Levchenko

Bridesmaid

Mariya danced into my life when we were both 3 years old. She came from the old country barely speaking English, filling my childhood up with old wives tales, witch craft, choreographed spice girls dances, and lots of Milano cookies. Every good and bad habit I have was likely formed with this girl right here.

Wil Zanni

Bridesman

Wil is actually Billy to everyone in RI but once he moved to NYC, Billy was just too coastal ya know? After high school, we became really close, it felt like no one understood us more than each other. If you ever get a chance to ask him about stories of our adventures you will get more than you asked for...through getting chased by the police and late nights at Denny's Billy has always been there for me. Billy is a constant force of happiness and silliness in my life, everyone needs a Billy.

Heather Zeh

Bridesmaid

Heather is an ass kicking Nurse who gets up way too early to do crossfit. We met at a punk music festival appropriately called Best Friends Day. When I needed somewhere to go after a hard time in my life Heather gave me a bed to sleep on. She is a true, caring and wonderful friend. Before Heather moved back to Cali, we got best friend tattoos because we didn't want to miss each other too much.

Danielle Izzi-St Pierre

Bridesmaid

Danielle and I met in 7th grade where we were frequently kicked out of class for "being obnoxious"...it was love at first sight. While In high school we formed a band called Satan Hug...not to be confused with God Smack. After high school we totally grew up... just kidding we went on cheap vacations to ME where we bought playboy shorts and ate too much poutine. TRUE LOVE is real.

Danielle Bouchard

Bridesmaid

Danielle has been in my life for over a decade and is now legally my sister! She is the sweetest person you will ever meet. We bond over being total Harry Potter nerds and making fun of fancy people who eat Beef Wellington. Don't let her quietness fool you, she is hilarious and will bust a move on the dance floor if the right 90s song comes on.

Amy Bouchard

Bridesmaid

Amy quickly became a good friend of mine when she first started dating my brother. I've always been protective of him but knew as soon as I met her that he had found the one... the one for me to eat too many vegan donuts with, the one to give me the cutest effing nephew, the one to spend every snow storm with eating all the snacks on my couch. Amy is wonderful and I'm so glad my brother found her at a bar way back when.

Steph Mulcahy

Bridesmaid

Steph is the female version of Nate so naturally I love the crap out of her. She is badass, super smart and incredibly fun to be with. One of the best times we spent together was in Texas where she BRAVED eating voodoo donuts despite her celiac disease...then we powered through an awkward wedding by drinking champagne without our hands. That is why we are friends. I'm so grateful Nate has such a kick ass sister who welcomed me into her family with open arms. Can't wait to be her sis

Scott Rowen

Best Man

Update: Scotty will no longer be able to attend due to him laying down the law for our great country. Though he won’t be present for the big day, he will always be one of my best men, and my best friend. Love ya, Jobin. Scott and I PURPOSELY DECIDED to be college roommates for 4 years (if that doesn’t tell you how close we are), and then we both continued on our way to fight the good fight for the greatest Army in the world. Though I decided to move on to a different career, Scott decided he wasn't badass enough, so he is now a Green Beret. And Scott has the most incredible young daughters and wife I have ever met! If you have ever seen the movie "I Love You, Man" you will know why I never fail to call Scott "Jobin" during every conversation. Scott is more than a friend, he is my brother.

Alex Beattie

Best Man

Alex, in many ways, is my polar opposite. And yet here I am, 18 years after our friendship began in the lunchroom of Park View Middle School, having him to stand with me as one of my two best men. During our early years, Alex and I craved stardom. So what better way to do this than to form a band called Combuster, writing hits like "Deep Fried Ass" and "I, Pantyhose". We skyrocketed to fame immediately, but soon found the top too damn high for us. So we continued on with our lives as regular men, with the glue of music holding us together. Over the years, we always made time to remain best friends, and even did a nationwide tour with our band Faster, Faster, Munchkinlove. Nowadays, you will find Alex and I at your local watering hole stealing hearts. And I am incomplete without this man.

Tyler Mulcahy

Groomsman

Tyler came into my life 30 years ago. Actually, I sort of came into his life, when I was born. My brother and I are very different souls in many ways, but that has only strengthened our brotherly love. I would be lying to you if I said I did not take advantage of my physical stature as I surpassed him in size when we were younger. His love taught me some of the most important lessons of my life, though. Without my brother, I would not be the man I am today. From our red bunk beds where I used to hang Pinky (his stuffed animal), to the incredible lego creations he would create on a weekly basis that I envied in ways he could never imagine, I would not change one moment of it. I am so incredibly blessed to call Tyler my Brother, and to have him stand with me on my wedding day.

Kyle and Geoff Bouchard

Groomsman

In my mind, a relationship with a person is just as much about the family they have as it is the partner you share your life with. When I met Katie's parents, they welcomed me with open arms and treated me with the love and respect as if I was already a part of their family. One of my biggest concerns was living up to the expectations of Kyle and Geoff, Katie's brothers. Both of them have incredible work ethic, an itch for adventure, and love for their family all of which I envy. Once I met them and got to know them, I felt as if they had accepted me just as Katie's parents so graciously did (at least I hope so!). I am beyond happy to be extending my family by two amazing brothers and their incredible wives. I could not have dreamed a better family to marry into.

Mike Porter

Groomsman

There are no greater bonds than the ones forged in war. Mike was a fellow platoon leader with me during our deployment to Afghanistan in 2012, and of the very few men I would trust with my life, Mike is one of them. The problem with Mike and I is that we feed off of each others desire to push the limits. This had led to us getting into some very precarious situations. Stories to ask Mike about would be ones like our maiden voyage of his sailboat that didn't go quite as planned (and led to a brazen rescue from another groomsman), or our San Juan Islands kayaking trip that we severely underestimated. And in each harrowing experience, I felt perfectly fine knowing I had Mike by my side. And don't even begin to ask him about his resume...he truly is the most interesting man in the world.

Luke O'Brien

Groomsman

I will say this again...There are no greater bonds than the ones forged in war. Like Mike, Luke was a fellow platoon leader with me during our deployment to Afghanistan, and also like Mike, is one of the very few men I would trust with my life. Luke's unwavering faith was critical to me during some low points of our deployment, and he taught me that sometimes it is best to surrender yourself to something greater, and let faith be the guide that gets your through. The work ethic and dedication that Luke has to what he loves and deems important is something I will strive for until the day I die. He is a silent professional that might literally move a mountain to help a friend in need. Also, he is a motorcycle magician, and defies gravity with how low he leans into turns on the track.

Chris Homa

Groomsman

Chris and I learned we were basically best friends the night we drunkenly decided to break into the local high school football stadium and kick field goals. That night ended with us running on the side of a highway, and me falling and getting a pretty serious cut on my leg, to which Chris got me back to my bed, dressed and cleaned my wounds, and fell asleep on the couch. Also, as referenced in Mike's write-up, Chris was our knight in shining armor during "Operation Save Mike and Nate from a Broken Sailboat." Chris also recently tied the knot with his beautiful wife; a wedding in which I was the officiant, the best man, AND the singer and ukulele player for their first dance. How could he not stand with me on my wedding day? We have been through it all and will always remain best friends.

Brian St. Pierre

Groomsman

Brian decided to make a later entry into my recent history, but despite our shorter time knowing each other, we have bonded in a way that I cannot say has been replicated quite the same way with anybody else. You see, Brian is not only a Prius-Driving, Griddle-Mastering Man amongst men, but he is also the drummer of the iconic and legendary Future Dads, the worlds greatest cover band. We have bonded not only through music, but through countless miles of early morning bike rides. And he has truly been a friend when I wanted him to be and a mentor and example of what a good man is when I needed him to be. He is on top of the runnings to be voted “Most Likely to be Nate’s ‘Grumpy Old Men’ Sidekick” in my yearbook of life. It’s an honor to have Brian standing with me on the big day.
